Each blade is forged from German X50CrMoV15 high-carbon stainless steel and carefully heat treated for sharpness, durability, stain resistance, and reliable edge retention. Full-tang construction provides strength and balance, while the streamlined semi-bolster allows comfortable handling and greater access to the blade edge. The ergonomic synthetic handle is shaped for a secure grip and finished with a distinctive mosaic rivet for a polished look.

The 8-inch bread knife features saw-like teeth that can slice bread from crust to crust without crushing the soft interior. In addition to bread, bagels, and pastry items, the serrations can pierce and slice through tough-skinned fruits and vegetables, with the 8-inch blade giving ample length to slice even large squashes and melons.
